why so complicated?
Staffing is recruiting in a sense, but only when combined with a Direct Hire Placement. However if the temp staffing contract is of a definite nature it is more of a temp to permanent placement scenario. Unless of course it was done through a recruiter which would then imply that it was in fact a Direct Hire all along. Don't forget to factor in whether or not this was ordered on a Friday in which it would be neither Staffing nor Recruiting.
Of course we're being dramatic.We like to poke fun at our industry for over complicating things at times and having it's own lingo. Let's take a moment to simplify things a bit and cover some of the buzzwords.

Is Direct Hire permanent placement recruiting a better option for my company than Temp Staffing?
A great question to ask... Direct Hire Recruitment services are normally best suited for filling technical, harder to place positions that are in competetive job fields. Our national recruiting division reaches past the normal pool of actively searching candidates and presents opportunities to people that may not be aware that their skill set may be a better fit than their current career situation. Casting a much wider net and offering a permanent placement position to a candidate can yield the results you're looking for but unable to find internally.
